One of men's biggest and most important decision in life apart from dream car and football is marriage. A lifetime commitment (okay maybe not for some).


So a marriage proposal is the first step towards the end of singledom. The decision to end one's bachelorhood takes courage and confidence, and "sacrifices".


Well, two of my good friends are intending to make this "sacrifice" in proposing to their respective girlfriends. They have wedding plans in their minds by next year and are "rushing" to think of a splendid idea to put the ring on their beloved (without being rejected, considered etc)

They have asked for my opinion on how to propose and being inexperienced on this subject matter, I think it's best I ask for your ideas regardless if you are a guy or girl, married or otherwise.

All the girls that I have asked gave me almost the same answers which I already knew. Of course these 3 important things must be well prepared in advance or it's would almost be a proposal failure.

I'm stressed.

I'm sick.

I'm fed up.

I am sick

I feel drowsy.

Am very tired.

My throat hurts when swallowing.

Finally, after weeks of hectic work, my health caught up with me.

I was reluctant to see a doctor initially but on second thought, I had better not be a virus carrier to my innocent loved ones due to the current influenza season.

So I drove to a nearest clinic.

Oh my god, the nurse that greeted me was absolutely an angel!

Man, I would be the world's grestest idiot if I did not go the clinic. She's any man's dream nurse. And I am not telling you where the clinic is.

Wait till you see the doctors working there and I get to choose who to treat me. Being sick can sometimes be a blessing in disguise. Oh my...

OKAYYY!! STOP!!

Me too. Never believe what a sick man is saying.

I am just cooking up some nice images that day to motivate myself to go to the clinic.

Nurse: "Take 2 capsules, 3 times a day, after meal. You want receipt ah?"

Me: "Yes please."

Nurse: "Hey young man, why are you staring at me lah? You want MC is it?"

Me: "Oh nothing. I was just dreaming." *wicked smile*

Nurse: "Haiya! Go home and sleep lah, next please!"

Alexis Bangsar

There are some people we will never forget. Those who had left lasting footprints in my heart do surface in my wandering mind ocassionally. Whether it was the first girl I had a crush for or the first annoying kid I had fought with. Thinking of them, their never-grow-old faces emerged clearly.

Similarly, there are places and food that have lasting impressions on us. I don't particularly dote on cakes. They're too sweet for me. So cakes do NOT make me go ooh and aah like girls.. oops no offence ladies :) But they have one signature cake I lust for.

And I went to Alexis to satisfy my urge last week when tiramisu comes to mind and it's been some time I haven't been there. Alexis is a bistro and wine bar located in Bangsar, KL. Yeah, they served good wines too. Of course there are several other Alexis bistros around KL and there are live band performances on Friday and Saturday nights. The warm ambience coupled with jazz music in the background instantly stimulate your appetite.

First, I had a club sandwich. It's a rather large serving enough for two. Tastes great with an iced cappuccino.

And top it off with my favourite dessert Tiramisu. I can't believe it still tasted the same. Very origianal. Absolutely delicious! Mmm...
