SURROGATES

Remember the clones?

I don't know if you're sick of being stuck in traffic jams every morning (and evening) in Klang Valley.

But I am.

Do you wish to have a clone of yourself working like hell at the office while you sleep till 11.00am on weekdays?

I do.

Any of you guys who would rather stay home and watch EPL than being forcefully drag to the malls on Saturday by your shopaholic girlfriend and fantasize there's a "boyfriend replica" of you to placate your girl?

I dreamt of it every weekend.

And any of you girls who wish to rather hang out at the cafes sharing bitchy tales than tagging along with your booze-crazy boyfriend at the pub while they down mugs of yeast and laughing like idiots and wish there is "girlkfriend replica" of you?

I think my girlfriend would love it.

I think I am short of time for everyone, for my family, my girlfriend, my friends, my colleagues, my boss and even my dog (ok if I have one). Sometimes, in the midst of all this craziness, I wish I have one (maybe several) replicas of me to do several things simultaneously. I can sleep until the sun shines on my fat ass while my replica goes to pick up my girlfriend. Then my other replica have a marathon meeting with my boss and another will have dinner with mom.

Yeah, multi tasking!

Do you think any of my wishful fantasy going to happen anytime soon? Hey! I heard there may be a little hope after all.

Have you heard of SURROGATES?

Yeah, it's a replica of you who looks exactly and sound exactly like you but it's not exactly you. He/She is a robot which stands in for you but you control your surrogate to do what you want.

It's the latest futuristic movie starring Bruce Willis.
FHM is giving out free tickets for SURROGATES. Win free tickets here.

FHM Girl Next Door 2010 Search

I love Jessica Alba, Megan Fox, Angelina Jolie and et cetera et cetera.

Most straight men love them too.

These girls are superstars, superhot, supersexy and not to mention super rich but they are beyond our reach. They only exist in our dreams, our fantasy. Totally out of our conscious reality. But these megastars have a dedicated team consisting image consultants, nutritionists, dieticians, physical trainers, wardrobe specialists, make up artists, personal chefs, masseuers, publicists etc etc etc... to make they look like erm.. megastars.

But now we are interested in the girl next door types. The cute girls we see everyday in our lives. The pretty newly joined colleague you stared and accidentally stapled your silly finger. Remember that hottie you stalk at the gym and tore your biceps while trying to impress her. And the cutie you lust after everyday on the bus or train but don't have the balls to go and talk to her.

Okay the latter was me. I saw her on the school bus everyday but I never summon enough courage to talk to her. Each day I would take an hour to comb my hair and in my best attire, in my school uniform anyway. I knew which seat she usually took on the bus and deliberately sat behind her. As the non-air condition bus moves, the whiff of her perfumed hair captured my imagination. I secretly admired her.

Everyday for two years, I sat behind her on the bus like a psychopath stalker but had never spoken a word to her. I was 15 and FHM wasn't around then, otherwise I would have nominated her as the "FHM Girl Next Door 1991".

If you know a friend or any cute girl next door, here's a chance to nominate her. The search FHM Girl next Door 2010 is on now! Who knows you may win exciting prizes and her heart too! :)

Hurry up and click here. Read how to nominate here.

The Teapot Cafe

Excuse me for my long absence.

Yes, I blame it on my work again. It eats up most my waking time. It even creeps in to my dreams like a few days back, I dreamt of my boss lashing at me for day dreaming. Hmm... eerie!

Okay on my "comeback" I like to share with you my nice warm breakfast which I had at The Teapot Cafe in SS2, PJ (facing the main road with many wedding studios).

A nice brewed coffee.
Freshly toasted club sandwich.
Aroma filled cream puff.
Delightful Victorian ambience.
Need I say more? I rest my case.
