Malaysian Girls: A Guy’s Dreamgirl Or Nightmare?

A friend of mine, Peter recently met his new love and they took off almost instantly. He kept on heaping praises on his newfound girlfriend. She’s gorgeous, cute, interesting, easy going and she’s a model.

“She’s my kind of dreamgirl that I have been waiting for” he excitedly announced.

That was one month ago and now he claims that his dreamgirl is selfish, unaccommodating, demanding, a branded slave, not understanding, not trusting, not forgiving and so many other “nots” that I couldn’t recall. How much things have changed for him (or for her) in this period.

Apparently, many Malaysian guys generally share this common belief that Malaysian (female) models are materialistic, arrogant, bitchy, hypocrite, less intellectual and cosmetically enhanced although they unanimously agree that they love to ogle at pretty models. They opined that their mothers were the last generation of good and undemanding women.

Okay models, don’t curse me yet. I know you girls or maybe guys totally disagree with the above statement.

Personally, I think this is just a perception by the general public, usually influenced by the media rightly or wrongly.

Fret not, here’s a chance for you to share your views and make a stand.

The first ever Malaysian reality series to be fully broadcast over the internet is here! Malaysian Dreamgirl Season 2 has begun auditions in Penang, Ipoh, Johor Bahru and KL. This model search competition will search for the next Malaysian Dreamgirl.
Elaine Daly and Jimmy Lim will be some of the distinguished judges. Joining them are Andrew Tan from Andrewsmodels and Julie Wong from Beautilicious cosmetic brand.

Who knows you might find your dreamgirl here and you can vote for her. You may even stand a chance to win great prizes such as the HP Pavillion notebook and many other goodies.

What are you waiting for? You can judge for yourself.
My dreamgirl? Watch out for my next posting :)
